With the summer season upon us, we wanted to take a moment to share some summer safety tips. As injury attorneys, we see all sorts of cases and hope by sharing these tips we can help prevent some injuries.

Heat Safety
On hot and humid days, it’s important to stay hydrated and listen to your body. Avoid strenuous outdoor activities and know the signs of heat exhaustion.Never leave a child, pet, or vulnerable adult unattended in a vehicle.

Outdoor Activity Safety
As you get outside to enjoy a variety of activities, keep the following in mind:

Trampolines cause approximately 100,000 injuries each year in the US.
Nearly 90% of ATV accidents in Oklahoma occur with drivers under the age of 16 as they drive adult-sizes ATVs.
Drowning is the leading cause of death for children 1-4 years old.
