For the first several decades of online education, it was hard to persuade most people (administrators, teachers, or students) that it was a legal form of education. Actually, there was much of opposition to the idea of online education because it was hard in most ways from customary classroom instruction. It is a little ironic since there is nobody who ever had said anything positive about classroom instruction.

Now, online education has become common-place and respectable. Actually, it's being pushed greatly by corporations, colleges, and the computer industry. Also, it is seen by employees and students as a more convenient and flexible way to attend classes; administrators believe that it will let them deliver courses much more cost-effectively; as well as teachers figure that they better begin teaching on the Web or be left with no work. Whether any of the stated is true, it does not matter as online learning is popular today and everybody wished to become a part of this.

But online education is not for everyone, for many different reasons. When online education appeals to nearly each student thanks to the ...
... convenience and flexibility it offers, not every student is suited to online education. Completing online courses requires much of initiative and self-discipline. You should make yourself log on in a regular way and spend many hours working in front of your computer. Also, you need to develop your study schedule to follow it. Students lacking these capabilities, typically don't do well in courses online. Besides, some students don't like learning on the Internet - they prefer the classroom experience.

Convenient and easy access to a computer as well as internet connection is the major condition for taking courses online. Some families and employees share only one computer so it is problematic for a given person to have enough time to do the coursework. A great number of people have access to computers at work, though they are just too busy with work to spend enough time studying. Often, in houses having one phone line, it's hard to devote it to a constant internet connection.
