On its launch in the mid-90s Stratus was publicized as the sportiest car made by Dodge. It was a mid-size car appreciated for its styling and spacious interior. Its first generation lasted from 1995 to 2000 when it was available as a sedan. The second generation was started in 2001. It had better safety equipment and more powerful engine. In addition to the sedan model a coupe model was also introduced. However, the two models were quite different from each other. Sedan was known for a large trunk and spacious interior. It was sportier than other mid-size cars in the same price range. Coupe was comfortable and had a powerful engine. Though the car had a fairly good reputation, it was discontinued after 2006.

After buying a car of their choice the car owners go in for after market products. Some of these serve as decorative items, others add to the safety of the vehicle, some of them enhance the performance of the vehicle, and some are meant to reduce the running costs of the vehicle. These are not their exclusive functions, some of the after market products perform two or three of these functions. Stratus air intakes, ...
... for example, improve the performance of the vehicle and economize on running of the vehicle by saving the fuel. Apart from the cost factor consumption of less fuel means less of pollution. From ecological considerations too that is beneficial. How do they save fuel? Fuel and air both are required in the engine for combustion. If there is not sufficient supply of air the combustion will not be complete, and thereby the fuel in the engine will not be fully utilized. Air intakes bring in cold from outside into the engine. Cold air is denser than the hot air in the engine and is therefore better for combustion. Air intakes enable you to get more power from the engine for the same quantity of fuel.

You will have a nice and comfortable drive in the roomy and stylish Stratus. A Stratus air intake will give you more power and better mileage. You can see the latest Stratus air intake at www.ilovebodykits.com.
