Airtel broadband is one of the most sought-after internet connections in the country at the present day. With the free wifi router included in its Wifi plans the Airtel Broadband provides high speed internet through fixed line broadband to many households and business all over India. With presence in over 100 cities, the broadband services are widely used and appreciated by its customers. One thing to note is that most of the connections provided in these cities have a Fair Usage Policy or FUP according to which the speed drops after a certain amount of data has been consumed. While the FUP limit and speed is determined by the plan that you take, Airtel has also launched unlimited Airtel internet plans in six cities of Ahmedabad, Surat, Hyderabad, Secunderbad, Vishakapatnam, and Guntur.

Airtel has kept the prices of its unlimited data plans in these cities on the same lines as the pricing in other parts of the country, there is no limitation of capping after reaching the Fair Usage limits. ... and Hyderabad. The plans of INR 799 and above in these six cities do not have a data capping and offer unlimited data in these six cities under Airtel XStream Fibre unlimited plans.

The plans priced at INR 799, 999, 1499 and 3999 also provide Airtel Thanks benefits which are benefits provided to Airtel Customers as a part of rewards program. The major difference between the plans is the speed and Airtel Thanks benefits that they provide with the INR 799 being the most basic one with 100 Mbps speed and Airtel Xstream app subscription as benefits. The INR 999 provides the users with 200 Mbps speed and Airtel Xstream, Zee5 and Amazon Prime subscriptions. The INR 1499 has the same Airtel Thanks benefits as the INR 999 plan, but gets better speed of 300 mbps. The top tier plan priced at INR 3999 has all the Airtel Thanks benefits and the top speed of 1 Gbps.

The unlimited plans a FUP limit of 3333 GB or 3.3 TB after which the internet speed will drop down to 1024 kbps. This would also ensure that these plans are not used for commercial activities and only as personal internet connections as they are intended by Airtel. With the launch of these packages, the INR 299 add-on pack has been discontinued that was available to upgrade the Airtel Xstream customers to convert their regular internet plans to unlimited plan. The plans are also offered in other cities by Airtel with similar benefits and speed limit; however, the FUP limit is much lower than these six cities. In other cities Airtel INR 799 plan has FUP of 150GB while the INR 999 plan has the FUP of 300 GB. The INR 1499 plan has the FUP limit of 500 GB which is the highest. In the other cities however the customers can convert their plans to unlimited plans by the Add on pack of INR 299.
