How Much Caffeine Content In Coffee?

Do you often drink coffee every day? Or do you often drink cold coffee like cold brew coffee? Do you find it hard to sleep at night? Is this because of the caffeine contained in the coffee?
Besides, many people think that those who drink iced or cold coffee will find it difficult to sleep at night. The fact is they have trouble falling asleep after drinking coffee because of the body's reaction to the caffeine content, not because the coffee is served cold.
Whether coffee is served cold or hot, it will not affect our sleep difficulties. Because what affects sleep difficulties is the caffeine content in coffee drinks. So how much caffeine content in the cup of coffee do we drink?
Caffeine Content in a Coffee Drink
For strong brewed coffee such as espresso, it is not certain how many mg of caffeine is contained in a single espresso, because it refers to the coffee beans used. Each espresso dish in many places has their own recipe, whether using arabica or a blend of arabica and robusta or maybe just use robusta coffee bean. Of course, robusta caffeine levels are higher than Arabica beans. In addition, ...
... based on the level of roasting, dark roast has more caffeine content than the light and medium roast.
But determining which coffee drinks have more caffeine content is not absolutely seen from the roasting level and the type of coffee beans used. Because caffeine levels can also differ in the way they are served and how they brewed.
Simply put, the same coffee beans with different coffee ratios also have different levels of caffeine. Many factors cause different levels of caffeine seen from the type of coffee, the size of the grinder, the time of brewing, the level of roasting and also the type of coffee mixture.
Caffeine Content in Cold Brew Coffee and Hot Brew Coffee
Without detailed caffeine content calculation approach, at a glance you already know that caffeine is a compound that can dissolve by water. The caffeine in coffee can extracted maximally with hot boiling water, this explains that the serving of cold coffee is less caffeine levels.
To maximize the extraction of caffeine levels from the coffee is better to use hot water than cold water or brew used cold water such as cold brew coffee. This steeping method use room temperature water to brew the coffee. So in this step we can conclude that the caffeine content in cold brew coffee is littler than the hot brewing coffee.
But the problem is, if the factors that cause caffeine levels are because the type of coffee used, the grind size, the time of brewing, so it cannot be rushed to conclude this. It is because the coffee to water ratio of cold brew is generally twice as much as hot brewed coffee. So this also needs attention.
Besides that, the steeping time in cold brew coffee is much longer than the hot brewed coffee. So it can say that whether the cold and hot brew caffeine levels can finally be said to have the same caffeine levels. It's possible.
But the another problem is, generally a cold brew dish will dilute with some water and some people add some ice cube and a little taste syrup or milk to give a more delicious impression. So we can conclude, that cold brew coffee is has less caffeine than the hot brew coffee.
So what do you think? Do you agree with us? Or do you have other points of view and opinions? But certainly, whether it contains a lot or a little caffeine, drinking coffee has many positive benefits for the health of our bodies.
