We all know about the audio and video cassettes which were the only thing that were the media players for both videos and music and the audio cassettes were merely made for dictation process. And these kinds of media are easily transferrable as large amounts of data may be carried on a single disc due to large spacing capacity and can be easily transferable to internet and other kinds of digital locations.
