He will replace Dr. Lucas Diaz, one of the firm’s Directors who was appointed as interim until a permanent candidate will be designated. Dr. Diaz will step down as interim and continue to take care of his duties as a director.

Prior to joining previous company, Marcos held various executive positions, such as Managing Director and Head of Department of Mining Engineering, as well as other corporate finance roles at mining companies based in Rustenburg (South Africa). He was also part of BRICS’s experience exchange program, where he specialized in providing M&A advisory services to single asset mining project developers.
