Besides, the infrastructure major stated the metallurgical & material strategic business group of L&T Construction has gained an award of the order by Etihad Rail Company PJSC. So then, this order consists of designing and building of freight handling facilities at 7 locations across UAE.
Despite this, the project might remain executed in a joint venture with Power China. However, the company stated the scope of work involves designing, engineering, and procurement. It also involves the construction and commissioning of bulk material handling systems. Such as rail loading and unloading systems associated with civil and structural works and bulk material storage facilities. Also, it has a general cargo and container handling facilities with freight terminal management & control systems.
