2. Remember whether you are trekking independently or through an agency, you must ensure that all the necessary permits required for the trek are in place. For this trek, you will need two—Annapurna Conservation Area Project Permit (ACAP) and Trekker Information Management System (TIMS) card.

8. There are some landslide areas on the hike that goes up to the Tilicho lack
. While they are not too complicated, they are a little difficult to navigate at night. It is advisable to go extra slow on that stretch to be safe.
