Are you planning a vacation with your toddler? What do you need to travel with a baby?

Our last vacation with our daughter was when she was two. We were traveling with another couple who had no children then. And they were just amazed by the size of our backpacks. We left behind nothing that was necessary for the comfort and safety of our toddler.

You need to think about toddler travel bed for your babies. Today, it's very common among parents like you. It will be a great choice for your babies safety.

This post is based on my experience as a traveling mama who got her first flight with her baby when he was only six weeks old!

Things to consider while CHOOSING BABY TRAVEL ESSENTIALS:

• COMFORT
Please read the reviews of real people sharing their experiences while choosing products for your baby.

• Easy to clean

While traveling, you need kinds of stuff that can be easily washed or wiped.

• Utility
Chose an item that can be used both at home and while traveling; for example- A stroller.

Travel Essentials:

1. A toddler travel bed:

I always prefer to use toddler travel bags while traveling with my daughter. Especially when you are continuously moving, your toddler cant adjusts easily every night in different sleeping arrangements.

A good sleep at night is essential while traveling. When your toddler gets the same travel bed each night, he/she is more comfortable and becomes more manageable for parents to settle them as well.

Travel beds you can rely on:
1. Baby Bjorn Travel Crib Light
2. Samsonite Winfield 2 Hardside 28″ Luggage
3. Samsonite Winfield 2 Hardside 24″ Luggage

2. Toddler car seat for travel:

A car seat is one of the first things we purchase for our babies. You can take the one you already have. But I would suggest you take a lightweight one. You can choose the portable ones too.

3. Travel stroller or baby carrier:

While purchasing a stroller, choose a sturdy one, and you will be able to use it when your child gets a little older. Lightweight strollers might be hard to push. So the stroller must have a solid frame.
Make sure it is easy to fold as well.

4. FAVORITE TOYS:

Don't forget to bring your child's favorite toys. It gives them great comfort while they are roaming around in unknown places.

5. CHANGING KIT / TRAVELING DIAPER BAG:

Chose the one you can use for both your baby and you. I don't prefer to carry a separate changing bag while traveling. I use a backpack where I can take both of our essentials.

6. A PORTABLE STERILIZER:

If you still need one, don't forget to take a portable sterilizer. They might take little extra space in your bag. But it is essential.

7. WET WIPES:

A pack of the wet wipe is priceless while traveling. Both for cleaning the skin and surfaces it is a lifesaver.

8. PORTABLE MOSQUITO NET:

This one is essential, depending on the destination. But I always recommend carrying one. Apart from mosquitoes, it will also protect your baby from flies and other insects while your baby is taking a nap outside.

9. WHITE NOISE MACHINE:

If your toddler is used to sleep with white noise. Don't forget to take it. Because it will disrupt her sleeping cycle.

10. Travel Size Baby Bottle & Dish Liquid:

Pack the Sippy cups, snack cup, and other utensils along with travel-size dish liquids.

11. Childproofing Kit:

Most of the hotel rooms are not child-proved. Especially if your toddler likes exploring around, it is essential to carry childproofing kits.

12. Baby Snacks:

Pack a variety of snacks that your little one loves. My daughter loves chocolate cookies, rice crispiest. So I take plenty of them with other meals as well.

13. Blanket:

Bringing your toddles own blanket will give him the same comfort as home. So I always prefer to pack her regular blanket while traveling.

14. Baby hat:

If you are traveling during summer, don't forget to pack his/her hats to protect their face and neck from the summer heat.

15. Baby Sunscreen:

Bring the regular sunscreen you use for your toddler. You might not get the same at your vacation place.

16. Swim diaper:

Another must-have item if your toddler loves spending time in the swimming pools. Don't forget to pack more than one.

Traveling with a toddler needs lots of planning, especially if it is your first time. But this little extra work will make your vacation a lot easier and comfortable.

Let's get packing and get ready for the vacation with your toddler — best of Luck.
