In the early 80s and 90s the VCR was the one that were the only thing to consider when people wanted to play media files and also to record them. That was the era that was majorly ruled by these players and there was nothing except them and no matter young or old people loved them to pay their favorite cassettes on them. But these days there is nothing such kind of thing is left as people has moved on with the time and they did the transfer video to DVD so that they can cope up with the new age of players and media . In the era of eighties people used to play their TVs with the help of cable and they had no choice in other than the VCR that happened whenever they wanted to play any form of media files with the help of it. They also watched the documentaries and the wedding albums that was got recorded on them and it was the only luxury to watch movies too at the comfort of home. These recorders used removable video cassettes that had magnetic tapes and they carried videos in recorded form, like films or any personal event. These recorders not only could allow the person watch prerecorded cassettes for films but this equipment ...
... also allow to watch the recorded shows and broadcast from the television that could be played on it.

Other than this

This player used to be a cheaper option of the VCR and it was called the VCP or the Video Cassette Player and this only was for playing the cassette but not recording it. These days’ people transfer video to DVD as these are easy to play with the new age players. These were played with the help of the video cassettes that were simply like normal audio cassettes and they were found in the video libraries. The player was having an ‘Eject’ button, ‘play’ button along with ‘stop’, ‘forward’ backward’ and ‘record’ buttons and when it was updated after some time these players came with front loading options and the recording options were also updated. Whenever they needed a repair they got repaired from normal repair shops easily and mostly the head of the players got repaired as it sometimes created obstacles while playing. But after playing certain times these magnetic tapes got damaged and the picture quality got deteriorated with time, and that is why the people went towards the CD and DVD players that were much stable and more reliable when it was the question on playing the best of the music and videos.
