The brain is one of the most fragile sections yet it is one of the most vital division of the human body. It is responsible for directing all our other organs, the way we think, behave and perform in our surroundings. With all these duties at hand, the brain can sometimes experience aches and pains that can disrupt a person's regular daily functions. Headaches serves as a warning sign that there is a disorder somewhere in the body or in the nervous system.
millions of people suffer from constant headaches throughout their lives. Headaches that happen regularly over two weeks in a month or more are referred to as chronic headaches and can often be identified with a throbbing pain in the skull that can either hurt one or both sides of the brain. Headaches are often connected to tension build up in the body. Tension builds up in the body due to squeezing in the muscles of the head, neck, shoulders, back, jaw, scalp or any other section that can be forced to become stressed. Lack of proper sleep, stress whether from home, on the job or emotional stress with family, depression, anxiety are all factors that lead to tension in ...
... the body. Persons with constant headaches can also be connected to stomach problems and sensitive to light and sound and can lead to them feeling dizzy and nauseas.
Sleep is vital in rejuvenating the body and is one of the body's best therapeutic treatments. A good night's sleep can differentiate between a long day of constant headaches or a whole day of optimal performance. Whenever the body lacks sleep it automatically decreases your ability to work effectively and builds up a lot of tension resulting in constant headaches. Exercising often can also help individuals to relax more and also helps you to rest easier. Exercise boost the blood and oxygen circulation, takes care of the muscles which translates to less tension in the body, which lessens the chances of you feeling a headache.
An individuals eating patterns can be connected to having constant headaches. A diet with little fibers, fruits, vegetables and vitamins and lots of fluid is setting the course for constant headaches. Persons should ensure that their diet is filled with all the vitamins and minerals needed to make the body work at its best. There are also certain products that increase your chances of getting headaches, especially if you are sensitive to certain foods. Dairy foods such as chocolate, cheese are famous for triggering migraine headaches and flavor enhancers like Monosodium glutamate.
Consuming too much caffeine can also start off constant headaches. Caffeine is usually used to enhance awareness and provide energy for a long day, but excessive use can lead to overwhelming anxiety and constant headaches. Substances found in the environment can trigger off headaches such as the fumes which exit a vehicle. Migraine headaches may also be due to depression, high blood pressure, eye problems, and allergies and can cause vomiting. There is also what is considered as cluster headaches caused from shock to the head, like those from an accident, brain tumors, seizures, strokes and inflamed arteries and other sicknesses.
The best way to treat constant headaches is to avoid habits that will promote it to happen. Pain killers can help to reduce pain but excessive use can still lead to more pain. For extreme cases of chronic headaches, such as those that last for a very long time there are holistic remedies on the market for it, and in some rare cases even surgery is used.
