The world is rapidly changing. Nowadays from pollution and toxic elements in the environment, every individual is facing numerous types of diseases. One major condition seen is of skin problems that occurs mostly from oxidative stress, which is defined as an over-production of destructive reactive oxygen species (ROS) and an inability of the body’s natural antioxidant network to neutralize them before they do damage to the skin and other organs.

In the Modern era, both men and women are facing certain types of skin issues which may be due to pollution, wrong eating habits, certain medications, busy lifestyle,etc. This will lead to decrease in skin elasticity, the formation of pigmentation, dark spots, pimples, blemishes, acne, burning sensation, itchiness, etc.

In Ayurveda, various herbs are there that give permanent relief from all the skin problems. Ayurveda treats the condition according to your skin types. Chandigarh Ayurved Centre had made a kit ‘Skin Glow Kit’ that consists of a total of 5 products – Detox premium powder, Panchatikta ghrita guggulu, Skin glow powder, Panchasakar churna, and Golden glow decoction.


1. Detox Premium Powder – Detox premium powder is considered as the best Ayurvedic Medicine For Skin Care to provide relief from all skin problems. The powder consists of shankh bhasma, parwal pishti, gandhak rasayan, tal sindoor, jahar mohra, sudhyog, akik pishti, kamdudha rasa, etc. It works by purification of blood which in turn treats skin disorders automatically which are mainly causes due to toxicity of the blood.

Recommended Dosage – Take 1 sachet twice daily with normal water.

2. Panchatikta Ghrita Guggulu– This tablet is very effective ayurvedic medicine that help in pacifying aggravated pitta dosha.It offers quick relief from some of the common symptoms associated with the skin ailments and helps in soothing down any irritation, itching, inflammation, swelling or redness on the skin.The herbal tablet is composed of Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), Nimba (Azadirachta indica), Vasa (Adhatoda vasica), Patola (Trichosanthes dioica), etc. that improves body immunity naturally and hence makes it able to fight against infection-causing microbes.

Recommended Dosage – Take 2 tablets twice a day with normal water.

3. Golden Glow Decoction – Golden glow decoction is widely used herbal medicine that deeply penetrates the skin to restore moisture, elasticity, remove wrinkles, heals cracks caused by dryness. It improves skin complexion, skin quality, skin texture, and relieves skin problems such as acne, scar, pimples, etc.

Recommended Dosage – Take 10 mL twice daily with normal water.

4. Skin Glow Powder – Skin glow powder is highly beneficial to relieve the symptoms of any kind of skin problem. The powder is a composition of two effective herbs - Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia) & Chopchini (Smilax malabarica). The powder supports skin health, reduces uneven pigmentation and improving complexion. It also helps in deep detoxification and blood purification without any side effects.

Recommended Dosage – Take 1 teaspoonful twice a day with normal water.

5. Panchasakar Churna– Ayurveda believes that any disturbance in the body occurs due to the vitiation of Agni, thus Panchasakar churna is mainly made to improve the digestion power and hence prevents the formation of ama. The powder is formed by 5 major ingredients - Saindhav Lavana (Rock Salt), Swarnapatri (Cassia angustifolia), Shatapushpa (Anethum sowa), Shunti – (Zingiber officinale), Balaharitaki – (Unripe fruits of Terminalia chebula). The powder relieves the digestive issues and cures constipation. It helps to cure dry skin and skin rashes, persistent acne, etc.

Recommended Dosage – Take 1 teaspoonful daily with lukewarm water at bedtime.

Lack of sleep make your skin lifeless. Getting sleep is essential for healthy skin as it needs time to recover.
Drink water to keep your body hydrated and flush out the toxins to get a glowing complexion. About 8 ounces of water per day is recommended but do not forget to sip on that green tea and lime water.
