Over 27 Women Should Not Ignore Persistent Pelvic Pain
Over the course of last few years, multiple studies have been carried out, identifying the possible triggers of this. According to multiple medical reports and statistics about 30- 40% of the women around the globe are affected with endometriosis and they can have trouble conceiving. Explaining endometriosis, Dr. Gautam Allahbadia, an IVF specialist and head of the Millennium Medical Center MMC IVF in Dubai, says, “When the lining of the interior of the uterus called endometrial tissue grows abnormally outside the uterus, the condition is called Endometriosis. Outgrowth is observed in areas such as your uterus, ovaries, tubes and on your bladder or intestines as well. This tissue can irritate structures that it touches, causing pain and adhesions (scar tissue) on these organs.”
In causing infertility, the condition of benign also plays a good role. There are four stages in which it is classified, based on the extent, depth, severity of scar tissue, and the pertinent size of the endometrial implants ...
... (lesions found in ectopic locations) in the ovaries. First and second stages are known as minimal, inferring to mild scarring and implants while 3rd and 4th stages result in cysts formation and scarring that hinge on infertility and other pelvic related issues.
In case you observe any of the following symptoms, do not wait to consult your doctor:
1.Abdominal pain
2.Irregular/ heavy menstruation, or painful periods (dysmenorrhea). Some women can even experience blotting in between the normal cycle
3.Painful/bloody urination
4.Painful intercourse
5.Bowel irritation
Medical experts have stated the cause behind endometriosis to be hereditary, as observed often. There are a wide range of hormonal changes happen in the body; they have also been linked with this condition, although it is unclear as to which may contribute or which may simply result from it. Apart from the above-mentioned symptoms, screening is another way to detect the disease.
In infertile women, it is true that Endometriosis is more common but it does not mean one is not going to be a mother. In spite of the fact that many women face problems in conceiving, a majority of women can have children successfully. It is suggested by many doctors that a woman should share the endometriosis concern with their partners and medical specialist. This is the most efficient way to live healthy and happily.
