In October 2018, Apple launched iPad Pro, which was completely redesigned. They removed the headphone jack, which became a bigger issue in the consumer’s mind. However, that was compensated with the A12X processor, and removing the lightning form USB-C was like a cherry on top.

This is news of the past as Apple didn’t release any update of iPad Pro in 2019. Now, they are ready to launch bigger and better updates. But how much bigger and better are we talking about? Here is everything you should know about:

Trio Camera 

There is a possibility of iPad Pro getting a “Laser-Powered 3-D Camera,” according to Mark Gurman (January 2019.) There are rumors that there will be a three-camera system as in iPhone 11 Pro. The leaks by OnLeaks and iGeekbolg show that the camera pattern doesn’t change, but as per Sonny Dickson’s website a very different pattern might appear to the back camera.

The MacBook Pro is shipped with LED, not OLED display.

There are rumors about launching new products with MIni-LED backlights in future years, which will be iPad Pro with a display of 10-12″ in late 2020. Pro Display XDR will be with LED.

Personally, I’ll love to watch the performance of mini LED on iPad Pro to see the OTT video contents. It solves many problems as OLED. But everything has some pros and cons.

There is a possibility that it will not be happening in the time of iPad Pro. But Hope for the Best.

Apple is just setting a new level on Dolby Atmos to spatial audio.

New chipset A13X (if released on early spring) or A14X ( if released on late Fall)will be introduced. Whichever will be used, it will be the best in the market.

The same goes for 5G support. Apple has made a deal with Qualcomm, and they’re both trying to achieve the steady hybrid modern ready for a market of the fall. And there is a possibility that Apple will get the ultra-wideband audio, which makes U1 chip a safe bit.

Timing of the Launch

There are some speculations that it will release in the spring of 2020.

iPad Pro was first introduced in September 2015 with 12.9-inch and added 9.7-inch screen in baby Pro in March 2016. This version is updated twice once in June’17, and the other is in October’18. This last update will make approx 18 months (as we assume that Apple will launch it in spring) between the updates. As the time between updates goes bigger, expectations of consumers are also going bigger and far better.
