Bangalore Palace
Bangalore Palace is one of the city’s oldest landmarks, established in the late 18th century by King Chamaraja Wadiyar. Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace was the summer residence of Tipu Sultan, the former ruler of Mysore, which was built in the late 17th century. The incredible Indo-Islamic teak wood architecture of this monument is sure to leave you awe-struck, and what’s more is that it’s now a museum open to the public, displaying Sultan’s personal belongings including his clothing and swords. The palace is surrounded by pristine gardens and features intricate interiors decorated with floral patterns.
