Brisk Walking, Yoga And Meditation – The Power Of Three!

Brisk walking is extremely good because when you step out of the house you get fresh air. You get to start early so that you enjoy the rays of the early morning sun. This along with the soothing breeze blowing by will encourage you walk some more.

If you want to live a healthy and peaceful life you have to opt for some form of exercise. Physical activity helps to burn out calories, releases toxins from our body, increases the production of endorphins (also called happy hormones) and in turn makes us positive, glowing and happy with the surrounding. However, due to our busy schedule we are unable to go to the gym regularly. Hence, the best alternatives are brisk walking and yoga. When you combine these two with meditation you are sure to get rid of your stress, tension, fatigue and even irritation.

... body is in motion. In short, your entire body is getting the required dose of physical activity. You do not have to worry about shaping your calf muscles or toning down your tummy with special exercises. Brisk walking will take care of everything.

Follow this up with half an hour of yoga. We all know that yoga is extremely good as it helps to bring about the perfect communion between the body, mind and soul. When you start doing yoga, your body will start to relax, the muscles will loosen up, your mind will calm down. All in all it will have a soothing effect on your body. Yoga is highly recommended especially when we are living such a stressful life. You can definitely take out 30 minutes from your busy schedule every day. Practice it early in the morning after you return from your brisk walk.

And finally you need to meditate. Meditation is becoming all over the world because people have woken up to the benefits of this. Nothing calms the mind like meditation does. Initially you may find it difficult to concentrate. Whenever you try to meditate different thoughts will come in your mind. This is natural. This has happened to the best of us. Just don’t give in to it and continue to meditate every single day. Slowly you will notice the difference. You will soon notice that you are able to concentrate better and you mind is not wandering in different direction. We suggest that you meditate right before you go to sleep. Meditation helps to calm the mind and as such you will enjoy a better and sound sleep. All those who are suffering from insomnia or disturbed sleep should start practicing meditation immediately.
