The herbal churna is prepared from Chitrakmool (Plumbago zeylanica), Sonth (Zingiber officinale), Ajwain (Trachyspermum ammi) Pippali (Piper longum), Vacha (Acorus calamus), Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), etc. It pacifies Vata Dosha, reduces Kapha Dosha and increases Pitta Dosha. It is very effective in loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea, burning sensation, etc.

This is a combination of some of the important bhasmas and pishti which are very beneficial to manage the acidity. The powder is made up of — Shvetparpati, Giloy satv, Shankh bhasma, Parvalpishti, Shukta pishti, Kamdudha rasa, etc. The sachet has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties. 4. Amlapitta Mishran -

The syrup is composed of Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Patol (Trichosanthes dioica), Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), Vasa (Justicia Adhatoda), Nimba (Azadirachta indica), Chirayta (Swertia chirata). The herbal syrup is used in hyperacidity, anorexia, nausea, headache, and strengthens Annavaha srotas by re-establishing the metabolic activity.
Recommended Dosage: Take 2 teaspoonfuls twice daily.

Eat smaller and more frequent meals each day, this promotes digestion and can aid in preventing heartburn.
Use of Ginger — Ginger has natural anti-inflammatory properties and is a natural home remedy for heartburn and other gastrointestinal problems. You can use ginger as a recipe or ginger tea to ease the symptoms.
Certain fruits can cause or worsen GERD symptoms, especially highly acidic fruits. If you eliminate or reduce the intake of following fruits you will surely get relief from acidity. Highly acidic fruits are — Oranges, Lemons, Pineapples, Limes, etc.
Fat takes the longest time to leave the stomach, therefore, reduce the number of fatty meats, butter, oils, salad dressings, milk products like sour cream, cheese, and whole milk.
Make an upright posture while eating and for 45–60 minutes afterward. Avoid too much bending over or reaching below your waist after meals.
Being overweight can promote acid reflux. Excess abdominal fat puts pressure on the stomach. According to research, 40% of overweight persons experience heartburn. So, keep doing certain exercise which will help in reducing the weight.
Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothing. Clothing that fits tightly around the abdomen will squeeze the stomach and causes food to reflux into the esophagus.
Stop smoking — The nicotine in cigarettes can weaken a part of your lower esophageal sphincter. This muscle controls the opening between the esophagus and your stomach. When it gets weak, it keeps acid and other things in your stomach from going back up.
Restrictive body positions can also put pressure on your stomach and chest, which may trigger your symptoms.
Aloe Vera Juice — Acid reflux causes your esophagus to become raw. Consuming something soothing that can ease the pain and even act as a balm in repairing the esophagus.
