Ramadan is the most blessed and sacred month of the Islamic year. It brings infinite blessings, uncountable health, and spiritual benefits. Not only a Muslim who fasts during the month of Ramadan gets closer to Allah Almighty but also enjoys the best health. As, fasting a major part of the day removes all the toxins from its stomach and drains any of harmful impurities present in its organs and bloodstreams. Consequently, providing with a refreshing, active and energetic mental and physical health.

Keep yourself hydrated

Water plays a significant role in maintaining a healthy body. It not only hydrates but also acts as a catalyst for digestion. Moreover, it constantly keeps on flushing out the toxins from the body. Drink at least 8-10 glasses a day. However, avoid drinking water along with your meals. Either drink it 30 minutes before having a meal or 30 minutes after eating.

Exercise Regularly

Exercise not only keeps our body in shape but also improves mental health. A body at peace makes peace. Make daily exercise a necessary part of your life, no matter what. Go for a run in the morning. Try Yoga and meditation. Include small exercises in your routine especially in the morning time.

Adopt the habit of Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting has been proved scientifically to be the best medicine. Not only it keeps you safe from developing different diseases but it also enhances your body’s endurance capabilities. There are a variety of ways for intermittent fasting;

• Fast 16 hours a day.
• Only having 1-2 meals in 24 hours with a gap.
• Fasting every other day.
• One 24-hour fast in a week.
• Fasting the day and eating at night.
• Skipping meals.
• Fasting 2 days a week.

If possible, workout intensely

If your body strength and physical, mental health permits opt for intense workouts but go slow and steady. Hire the services of a personal trainer and do heavy workouts under professional supervision.
