Understand The Instructions To Heat The Hot Get Pack

To do so, you can use Hot Gel Packs, which increases blood flow and restore movement to the injured tissue. Warmth also minimizes pain, joint stiffness, and muscle spasms. When compared to cold packs, heat gel pack plays a vital role in easing pain from both chronic and acute injuries including strains, sprains, and much more.
It is always better to use cold packs for the first two days and then shift to hot packs. You can apply the hot pack, which wrapped with the towel or cloth for 20-30minutes. Some of the physical therapists recommend alternating between cold and heat for people with chronic issues and muscle spasms.

Get hot packs are extremely handy for offering hot therapy to soft tissue injuries. Heating the gel pack needs some extra care and handles it safely. Most of the hot gel packs are a lozenge-shaped and rectangular sealed pouch. It is usually made of nylon or plastic to provide the instant effect of the heat.

Using the Heat Sealers, the gel pack is sealed properly to maintain the heat for a long time. This pack usually contains the water-based gel that can be heated based on your needs. When it comes to heating the pack, you need to soak it in hot water or cook it in the microwave oven. It is always safer to use microwave method because it gives instant heat. Take a glance at the instructions to heat the gel pack.
- Firstly, you should set your microwave to 600w and then place the hot gel pack flat on the microwave and close the door. Set the timer for 20seconds to heat the pack.
- Once the timer has completed, remove the gel pack with the help of an oven glove or towel to hold it simply
- You will notice that the edges of the pack are warm while the middle of the gel pack is still cold. It is because of the availability of less gel at the edges.
- When holding the pack with the glove or towel, squidge up the pack to move the gel around inside and evenly distribute the heat.
- If the heat is not enough, then put the pack in the microwave oven for another 10-20miutes. Use the same method mentioned above until the hot pack gets enough warmth.
