‘A long-distance hiking trail’, is what best describes the Annapurna Circuit Trek or what it is often called. It is one of the most popular treks in Nepal which is visited by thousands of trekkers from around the world, every year. Small villages, comfortable tea houses, comforting food, spectacular vistas and a lot of memories are what the Annapurna Trek is made of! The hikers first discovered the trail in the seventies but it gained popularity among the trekking enthusiasts only in the late eighties.
Like most of the other treks, the journey of Annapurna Trek begins from the capital town-Kathmandu and ends there as well. There are two appropriate times during the year to undertake trekking in Nepal--one in October and November and the other in April and May.
