Why Is Holistic Nutrition An Approach Worth Trying?
Since there is a barrage of information about which foods are healthy to be consumed and which are not, which foods are good for what kinds of health conditions etc., it may get confusing for people sometimes to make decisions about a balanced and holistic diet. The vital question that we may want to ask ourselves is – in spite of consuming what we think is the best for us, or in other words, a healthy and well-balanced diet, are we completely free of diseases and ailments? Now, diseases may not be limited to physical conditions, they can also imply mental sickness.
In such a scenario, theories like ‘one size fit all’ and ‘one nutrient at a time’ or ‘ONAAT’ are doing the rounds which in a true sense actually doesn’t seem to be of enough help.
