How The Aluminium Door & Window Systems Better Than Other
The decision of picking a window and door system is extremely crucial. While one may take them lightly, these systems are a part of the structure of your house and can influence things like security, durability, aesthetics, etc. directly. Even though a lot of options exist in the market, one clearly outshines the others; namely the Aluminium Systems. Aluminium systems are any day a better choice than any of its alternatives and have now gained a lot of popularity over the course of the last few years.
Aluminium door systems are stronger and sturdier than wood and uPVC systems. They are heavier in weight and therefore do not break easily. Further, they are also way more durable. One can say so because unlike wood they do not react to weather changes, nor can they be attacked by termite infestations. They also are way more compatible with security systems for the same reasons.
When it comes to aesthetics, aluminium systems are better at that too. Unlike uPVC and wood, it is very easy to make different types of windows and doors using aluminium systems. For example, when it comes to combination windows, aluminium is the obvious choice. This is because uPVC isn’t sturdy enough while wood isn’t durable enough. Also, when we take visual appeal into account, aluminium systems offer a huge array of options in terms of color, finish and look. Wood systems on the other hand often fade due to heat and sun damage while uPVC does not offer enough options in the first place. Another essential factor is the fact that you can install slim windows in aluminium systems. This is not an option when it comes to wood or uPVC.
When it comes to functionality, aluminium systems easily outperform their substitutes. Contrary to popular belief, Aluminium systems are heat resistant and are perfect for any kind of weather. Further, they are sound resistant and most importantly, they are fire resistant. Both aluminium doors and windows have proved to perform better than wood and uPVC against situations of fire.
The best part about aluminium systems is the fact that they are extremely easy to maintain. They are easier to clean, rarely require maintenance or servicing and are cheaper than uPVC and wood. While dealing with wood, one has to take into account water damage, that can ruin polishes and sheen very easily and can accelerate the process of degradation.
Another important element to consider is the fact that Aluminium systems are recyclable. Wood systems once broken or removed are just dumped into landfills, while uPVC systems although recyclable, require huge amounts of time and money and must go through an extremely long process to do so. Aluminium on the other hand is simply melted and utilised to make other products.
All in all, Aluminium systems are a way smarter choice. They are cheaper and durable, slim and strong along with being pretty and sturdy. They provide better value for money and have a longer life. More importantly, they are a smarter choice for the environment.
