How To Find Almost Anyone's Email Address

When marketing outbound, emails are important.

Whether you run a cold email campaign or follow-up on a direct mail product, email addresses are important for outreach.

During my outbound marketing efforts, I analysed thousands of email addresses and tried various methods to locate them.


Below, I listed my system and resources to find email addresses.


1. Search the simple:

There are two places where you can find email addresses that many people don't see.


The individual's LinkedIn page-You need to click' View Contact Info' on LinkedIn. If you do this, you'll see a list of social media accounts, websites, and sometimes an email. All this information is optional, so not everybody includes it, but sometimes it's an easy win.


If they don't have an email listed, click through their other links. Sometimes emails are listed on personal websites or even on their twitter page.


Company Bio Page-Another obvious but often overlooked search place. Most companies don't list all their employee's contact information on their site, but every time you get ...

2. Use Sellhack:


There are a variety of email address search tools on the web. I've tried many of them, and Sellhack is the best email prospecting tool I've found.


I'll admit, it's not perfect and you'll still get lots of bounces, but it's the best tool I've ever found.


It's a simple Google Chrome plug-in that lives in your browser's corner. While researching prospects, click the plug-in and a pop-up window appears.

You enter first name, last name and company website prospects and Sellhack digs for you. It will scour your email address through various sources and methods.

To people with company email addresses, that's the most effective method I've found.


For 50 prospects, you can try Sellhack for free, and paid accounts are cheap starting at $9 a month. The emails I'm looking for are so important to me that I have no problem paying this small monthly fee.


3. Find Email Address:

4. Try the Rapportive Gmail Hack:

Until discovering Sellhack, this was my go-to email research method, and I still use it as a fallback.

Sellhack does well, although sometimes it doesn't find what I'm looking for.

As a last resort, I'm using a hack that blends Gmail with Rapportive.
The process is a bit complicated, so instead of trying to write it all out, I'll postpone this video that taught me the tactic years ago.


5. Google the prospect:

Google name the prospects and browse around some of the links to see if you can find their contact listed somewhere.

Sometimes you'll find the prospect listed in a trade association or some manager that includes your contact information.

It's often a long shot, but sometimes it works wonders and opens doors to new research methods that are unique to your business.

For starters, I was seeking contact information for a mining company for Hollywood directors. Many of these other approaches failed because people lack business emails.
By running a Google search, I met the Directors Guild of America with a director of all its members and their contact information. Golden mine!.


6. Use Getsteward.com:


If all these methods fail or you don't have time to deal with them, go to GetSteward.com.

This is a simple service to do the dirty work of finding someone's email address for just $1 per email. They do large and small orders, and usually, do a great job of getting quality email addresses.

Besides asking for the contact name of some person, they will also create lists of specific titles for you at specific types of companies.

• Give them full order size, so they don't return with more than you want.

• Be very clear about what makes you work and what doesn't.

Finding email address can take some time, but if you use these methods and tools (in the presented order), you will find the contacts you are looking for.

But be careful, because finding someone's email doesn't mean they want to hear from you. Don't be a blanketed spammer, blast off sales letters to anyone you're looking for.

For email outreach, make it part of a campaign. Be intentional and build a strategy.
