Single axle trailers as the name tells has one axle with the wheel connected on each side of it. it is attached to trailer by springs or directly it is attached on trailer bed with clamps or supporting hardware.

Tandem trailers are trailers that are also called double axle trailers. It has two axles placed in close proximity with each other so that it can help disperse the weight load of cargo.
Both types of trailers have their own use as per the need of the consumer. Their demand depends on the type of goods that we are to transport. Whether you want to purchase new or Second-Hand Trailers for Sale Melbourne, Both are in demand but we choose tandem trailers more than single axle trailers.

Some of the reasons for choosing tandem trailers over single axle trailers are:

Towing: they are more suitable for towing over long distances because they are more concerned with safety. Therefore, for long-distance transport, we prefer using safer mode and thus is the best choice for the same.

Stable: they are designed ...
... in such a way that they have to travel long distances. They are very stable at highway speeds. This is a very important thing to notice while we make a choice of trailer.

Suspension: from all the studies and scenario we conclude that tandem trailers have better suspension than single axle trailers.

Easily replaceable tyre: tyre and its types are other factors that we need to consider while buying or hiring a trailer. They have flat tyre of the less dramatic events. Moreover, if it happens tyre can be changed without using a jack which is very useful and can be replaced by any skilled or unskilled person in this field.

Safety: tandem trailers are safer. As they are made to carry a weight of 750 kg to 3000 g weight so they have brakes of high power. this is by law that they should have proper brakes so it is must thing that all tandem trailers have. while anything is carried above 2000 kg all axles must have brakes. This makes both ride safe and products inside the trailer are safer.

Less bounce: when properly loaded, a dual axle trailer bounces less as it is less prone to swaying.

It is very obvious that we should get more benefits when we are investing somewhere. Therefore, it is wise to get knowledge about the single axle and tandem trailers and make choice.
