Iptse Exams – The Registration Process For Schools Students

The government of India introduced the Intellectual Property Talent Search Examination in order to foster the spirit of innovation among the Indian Youth. School and college students can register for this exam and learn about intellectual property, IP rights, patents, trademarks, copyrights and other things in the IP realm. While all participants can get certificates, a few students can also win cash prizes. The IPTSE exam is an online exam and you can register for IPE exams online. Here’s how school students can register for this exam.
Step by step guide for IPTSE examination registration
Registering for IPTSE exam is rather easy. Just follow the below mentioned steps

1. Visit the IPTSE website
To begin the registration process, you first need to visit the official IPTSE website. The URL for the website is www.iptse.com. This will take you to the home page.

2. Locate the register now tab
Once you are on the home page, you will see the ‘register now’ tab on the top right-hand side of the website. You should click on this tab, after which you can begin with IPTSE Registrations. ...

3. Click on the second tab i.e. the school students tab
After clicking on ‘register now’, you will be redirected to a new page where you will find the 3 basic ways, as per eligibility, in which you can register for IPTSE exams. These are – Schools/Colleges/Universities registration, School Students registration and College Students registration. You will also see a fourth tab – a login tab, which you can use later on, after completing the registration process. As a new school student wishing to register for this exam, you should click on the ‘School Students’ tab.

4. Input your personal details in the corresponding tab
You will now be on a new page, where you need to input the necessary details to register for IPTSE examinations. This is a basic form in which you must mandatorily fill all your personal details which include your name, middle name, last name, and date of birth in DD/MM/YY format. You must also enter your father’s and mother’s names in the corresponding tabs. Other personal details you need to provide include your nationality, gender, e-mail address and contact number. Also, tick the box below the personal details tab if you are an ‘Inspire Manak’ Awardee.

5. Create your login details
After entering the personal details, you must continue the Intellectual Property Examination registration process by creating your login details. Just enter your existing e-mail id and create a unique password, and confirm it. Just as it is with all passwords, make sure you select a strong password comprising of upper and lower case letters, numeric values and special characters.

6. Enter your educational institution details
You must now enter your educational details in the educational details tab. You need to enter the name of your school in the institute name tab and also mention your school’s address in the corresponding tabs such as address, city, and state and Pin code.

7. Click on register
This is the last step in the IPTSE Registrations process for school students. Just select the appropriate tab about how you heard about IPTSE from a drop-down menu and click on ‘register’.

Once you fill the registration form, you will be redirected to a new page where you can pay a small registration fee of Rs.250. You will receive your credentials in your e-mail after which you can log in to the IPTSE website any time. You can also access the course content and take mock tests to prepare for the exam.
