A diamond in India could possibly be the best kind you could get your hands on. India is known for diamond mines such as the Kollur mine in the Golconda region. This one has been famous for producing the largest diamonds. From the 16th century, a diamond in India from this mine could have been rarer than those mined elsewhere.
