Struggled about her weight

She is a foodie. She likes street food. As a teenager, she struggled with her weight: She was unhealthy. Kapoor was diagnosed with insulin resistence and polycystic ovarian disease. At that time she was not fit. Her ex-boyfriend made some unpleasant comments about her weight and she had to call off her relationship. Education

Sonam Kapoor studied theatre and arts at the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore for her pre-university education. Kapoor wanted to become writer and director. She never expected to become actress. she expressed her desire to work with crew member of ‘Black’ film. With his father’s recommendation to director Sanjay Leela Bhansali she was appointed as his assistant.

Bhansali kept on convincing Sonam that she was made for acting and that she should try her hand in the films. She learned acting in Roshan Taneeja’s acting school. He even told her that her entire image is like an Ajanta painting. After persuading her for about apparently 1.5 years, Sonam agreed to do ‘Saawariya’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor.For this movie she lost 35 kilos for this movie

Breakfast: Oatmeal and fruits.
Post workout snack: Brown bread with egg whites or protein shake with juice.
Lunch: Dal, sabzi, one ragi roti, salad and a piece of chicken or fish.
