A regular clinic may be able to order supplies for you, or refer you ahead of time to someone else, but if you've simply walked into a walk-in clinic, they may have to later refer you to a different clinic, instead of giving you notice beforehand. Furthermore, many walk-in clinics have been set up for a particular purpose and may only be equipped to handle things relating to that specialty. If you walk in to a flu shot clinic and you have a particular need or issue, the clinic may not be able to help you.
