As a dancer, your feet (and of course, toes) are very important. One way to take good care of your feet is with a foot thong.

Often, people in the audience see how graceful the dancer is on stage. They notice the movement of his or her arms, legs and body. They may not notice the feet and therefore, neglect to credit the footwork when asked about the performance.

A dancer, however, is aware how much he or she relies on the feet, and toes. Why, the feet support the body's entire weight in many dance positions. A female dancer may be in an Arabesque position, an attitude position or perhaps she is spinning in a pirouette, even a la seconde during the course of a dance lesson or performance, so she has much to thank her feet and toes from.

The great thing is that whilst foot thongs are flexible enough to feel like a second skin, it is nevertheless durable enough to last reasonably long. Fine suede in thin pieces is fitted between the toes and these are held together with an elastic band that is thin.

The best part is that the colour of basic foot thongs is beige. Therefore, the dancer does not have to worry about its visibility. Now, he or she can experience the comfort and protection of the thong, without it being seen by the audience who are off stage.

You can generally find thongs in the different sizes of XS, S, M and L. These items are not usually over priced, but the overall cost will depend on the brand as well as the design. A particular brand may offer more than one style of thongs.
