Be Aware Of The Rules In Singapore

Singapore is the beautiful and tidy city in Asia. Even though it contains various types of people who follows different culture and speaks different languages, it acquires its own tradition. Singapore is highly secured city as a woman can walk on the road even in the mid night all alone. There is no fear about robbers, rapist etc. Also it has some special laws and restrictions which are applicable for everyone lives in Singapore as well as the visitors. This blog advice you about the rules you need to abide.
1. You should flush the toilet after using it. Not flushing the toilet properly is against the Singapore law and considered to be a public caning offense by the government. It is also common sense to flush the toilet after you use it.
2. Keeping the city clean is also another law. You will be charged an amount of SGD 1000 for dropping trash on the ground. You should drop the waste into the trash can properly. If you failed to dispose the trash in a proper way you will be fined and on the top of everything you will be forced to do to community forced labor. If you get punished for three times for the same thing, ...
... you will have to wear a sign saying "I am a litter lout".
3. You will not get any type of chewing gums to make your breath refreshed. Hence be careful of having any food that gives you bad scent, if you on your way to meet someone. This has been restricted mainly because of the activities of people. Most of the people failed to dispose it properly after they chewed. Some throw on the road or stick on the car or stick on the public chairs etc. Hence they abandoned the sales of chewing gums in the city but still you can chew gums but properly dispose it on the trash can or else you will be punished.
4. It is a crime to walk around your house naked. It is illegal and you will be charged hefty fines or you will be imprisoned, if you walk naked.
5. Hugging is prohibited in the public places. Are you meeting your loved ones after a long time, please make sure that you are not getting over affectionate and hug them or kiss them in a public spaces as you will be punished for outraging modesty and you will be imprisoned or fined.
6. No poking comments about the religion. If you have different beliefs or if you do not believe god, please do not pass any comments about religion. It is highly a serious matter according to Singapore customs.
7. Of course crooks go to jail, but you have to be careful about strangers. For instance, if you are introducing a stranger as your friend by speaking well of him and it turns to be false, you will also be condemned for abetment.
8. Do not connect on unsecured Wi-Fi. If you need to check your email or want to book travel tickets , better go to secured internet café rather than logging into unsecured network connection. If you use unsecured internet, you will be considered to be Hacker and you will be imprisoned.
If you abide all these rules, Singapore is a wonderful travel destination to enjoy your vacation trip.
