India is referred as holy land with religion and philosophy blending with each other. India, known as a land of snake charmers, has always attracted people from every corner of the world. Tourists and travelers from everywhere visit India every year. India is very rich in culture and allows plenty of options to the visitors to enjoy the country. The Himalayas stand as a crown for India. From hundreds of lakes and seas to mountains and vast deserts, tourists can find hundreds of places form where they can learn about the vast and the rich culture of the country.

There are many places in India which are famous for the breathtaking views of beauty of the nature. One such place is Nainital. Nainital is also known famously as the lake district of Uttarakhand state. It is situated in the Himalayas. There are number lakes in Nainital and the major ones include the Naini Lake which is enclosed by the hills. The lake is surrounded by seven hills with beautiful cottages and villas on them. The other famous places in Nainital include the Mall road which is lined with the shops, hotels and restaurants and is a major shopping place for the tourist. The ropeway provides the facility to enjoy the beauty of Nainital form the snow view point. It starts from the Mallital end of the lake. The Hanuman garhi is a religious complex in Nainital. The Naina peak which is also known as the China peak is the highest peak in the Nainital district.

Apart from hill stations like Nainital the second most favorite tourist spot is Delhi. Delhi is the capital city of India. Delhi is known for its historical buildings. Delhi is a mix city of old and new. The Delhi is famous for places like Qutub Minar, Red fort and Humayun tomb that represents the perfection of Mughal architecture. The Qutub Minar is the tallest minaret in the country. Apart from historical places, Delhi offers a wide variety of shopping destinations like the Chandni Chowk which is famous for its narrow winding roads, the Connaught place, Khan Market, Dilli Haat and many more. The Lotus temple or the Bahai temple, the Birla Mandir, the Jama Masjid offers tourists a great religious ride. Delhi is one of the busiest cities in the world and is the third largest city in India.
Nearby Delhi Tourism is another biggest tourist spot in India- Agra city. Agra is famous for the Taj Mahal which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is the most beautiful monument in the world.
