Back in the day I use to watch Terry Bradshaw led his football team. He played for the hated Pittsburgh Steelers. I was an Oakland Raider fan. These two teams played in some great games and had great battles.

Terry Bradshaw has done a lot of things, other than play football, in his life. He was born in Shreveport, LA on September 2, 1948. Many people have called TB the greatest quarterback in NFL history and arguably the hardest thrower. Bradshaw has done a lot in football from broadcasting to writing about it, but never coaching football. While at Louisiana Tech he was voted an All American. In 1970 he was the very first player selected. He then went on to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Terry Bradshaw was the first quarterback to win 4 Super Bowls. In those games they beat the Los Angeles Rams, the Minnesota Vikings and they beat the Dallas Cowboys two times.

As mentioned earlier in the article, Terry Bradshaw was born in Louisiana. He was the second of three sons of Bill and Novis Bradshaw. The Pittsburgh Steelers took him first in the 1970 NFL draft. The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to select him ...
... first because they had such a bad record in 1969. The actually beat the Chicago Bears with a corn flip because they were both 1-13. Bradshaw became a starter one year after he was drafted in 1970. He had his finest season in 1978 when he was named the Most Valuable Player by the Associated Press.

In 1983 TB retired from the NFL. He quickly signed a television contract with CBS to become an NFL game analyst in 1984. He became a play-by-play announcer with Verne Lundquist. Their games were very popular and drew a huge audience.

When he went to the NFL Today show, his career blossomed as a broadcaster as he was promoted into a television studio analyst. He worked with Greg Gumbel through the 1993 season on Fox NFL Sunday. On this show he normally acts as a comic foil to his co-hosts. Bradshaw has also written or co-written five books and recorded six albums of country/western and gospel music.
