Amsterdam is a well planned, huge city in Northern Europe. It belongs to Netherlands and is the capital city of the country. Area wise it is the country's largest city. It is a great tourist destination for foreign visitors and the peak season is July - August when the weather conditions are the best. Weather although doesn't get extremely cold during the rest of the year; it is pleasant throughout the year. The city is kept alive by innumerable cultural events and festivals that occur within the period of September to August and some throughout the year. Overall it is the perfect place to spend your vacation and experience total recreation.

- Alkamaar is one of the oldest cities tracing back 750 years in history, is famous for its weekly cheese market. They practice an age old tradition of Dutch style of cheese weighing and tasting tests.

- From Alkamaar the tour proceeds further to the three old windmills of Schermerhorn. Here you get the chance to visit a wooden shoe factory and a windmill.

- The spectacularly brilliant flower fields in Keukenhof is a must visit. It has the largest flower garden. There are about 7 million different bulbs planted each year. A wide variety of tulips, hyacinths, orchids, daffodils, lilies and crocuses are displayed. The 700 different varieties of tulips is a breathtaking sight. An array of architectural excellence in the form of many sculptures and beautiful attention grabbing windmill are trademark of this city.

- A canal tour is also characteristic part of your Amsterdam excursion. It gives you an outstanding view of merchant houses with their beautiful facades, churches with belltowers and warehouses. The boat tour also passes through the Old Harbor that is bestowed with many historical buildings and interesting sights. There are other places like the Skinny Bridge, Waterloopein flea market and The National Monument worth paying a visit.

- A visit to the old Dutch town Haarlem could also be included in your excursion. It is known for its nice shopping area. This town was home to a very famous 17th century painter called Frans Hals. His best known painting is called ‘The Happy Drinker'.
