Runescape Adds Slayer Challenges To Enhance The Slayer Skill

RuneScape has added Slayer Challenges to the slayer skill. This update makes slayer more enjoyable as well as creating opportunity for greater slayer experience and rewards.

RuneScape players who have successfully completed assignments from a slayer master are eligible to be offered by the slayer master a special challenge instead of an ordinary slayer task. According to the RuneScape database, these challenges are offered occasionally.

Each slayer master has its unique assignment. Vannaka will assign a special dragon hunting task, Sumona will assign the Kalphite Queen, and Duradel will assign killing one of every creature found in the slayer tower. The RuneScape database did not reveal what the tasks of the other slayer masters are.

Slayer challenges, unlike slayer tasks, can be declined without incurring a penalty. The RuneScape news release continues to say that the RuneScape players who opt for the slayer challenge will gain extra slayer experience and slayer points if they have completed Smoking Kills quest. How much experience gained remains to be determined.
