I Still Remember You: The Future Of Social Networking
CHICAGO, IL - I Still Remember You may be a locally-based company, but its reach is worldwide and they're positioned to take online social networking to a whole new level.
The philosophy behind I Still Remember You (www.IStillRememberYou.com) is based on a new approach to overcoming the limits of current social networking platforms.
"There are either sites like Facebook or MySpace, which put you in touch with people you already know well, or Craigslist Missed Connections, which may be good to locate someone you met by chance but only if it's done right away," said Rebecca Hallmark, spokesperson for I Still Remember You. "What about someone you met at a conference six years ago or a nice local person you met on vacation halfway around the world?"
Hallmark said that the idea for I Still Remember You sprung from a conversation about a friend who was trying to get in touch with someone she had met at an airport during a long layover. They'd hit it off, but never got around to exchanging contact information.
"When the moment is right, you would know right ...
... away, but too many people miss the opportunity the first time," Rebecca said. "At I Still Remember You, we believe that everyone deserves a second chance. This is the basis of our service."
I Still Remember You is the first chrono-geographical search tool on the Internet. Users can log in and post who they are looking for by using that person's location, the location where they met, and/or the time frame during which they met. They can also see who may be looking for them based on the same criteria.
"People meet all over the world, far from home, randomly, and we wanted a networking site that could accommodate that phenomenon," Hallmark said. "And there shouldn't be a time limit on getting back in touch with people."
"We've had some amazing feedback from our users," says Hallmark. "There's even been quite a few love connections, which we're really happy about!"
Hallmark sees a bright future for I Still Remember You, and hopes that people from around the world can use this free service to their advantage and utilize this robust search tool to stay connected or reconnect with the ones that matter. I Still Remember You already has thousands of members in its database since its inception several months ago.
"Imagine how great it would feel to catch up with someone you never thought you'd find again," Hallmark said. "I Still Remember You has the power to change lives, and we're really excited about that."
I Still Remember You is a social networking site that uses chrono-geographical searches to connect people worldwide. I Still Remember You can be found at http://www.IStillRememberYou.com.
