- Amsterdam:

Amsterdam, the capital city, is a must-see tourist spot of Holland. It is rich in Dutch cultural heritage and the city is clad with magnificent buildings of historic significance, scenic canals, world class art museums, merchant mansions, churches with a bell tower, the Anne Frank House and various exquisite architecture all around. It is a city that was destroyed and rebuilt after World War II. It is one of Europe's major ports. The major attraction of this place is the Netherland's best art museum, the Boymans van Beuningen museum and the museum park section of the city. The boat tour of the harbor is also an added attraction.

- Arnhem:

The mention of this city is seen in the book and the movie A Bridge Too Far. It was based on a World War II battle for a bridge crossing the Rhine between the Netherlands and Germany. The city features the Open Air Museum which is a depiction of the lifestyle of the Dutch with their farms and homes and windmills a long time ago.

- Hoge De Veluwe National Park:

Bestowed with resplendent scenery and picturesque landscapes, this park is home to the Kröller-Müller Museum, which currently displays a collection of nineteenth and twentieth century art. It also is home to a stunning Sculpture Garden with moving large scale works in natural and manmade materials. To reach the park you need to board a bus from Appledom's train station. The interior of the park is toured in white bicycles which can be freely used after you have paid the initial admission fees.

- Haarlem:

It features the St. Bavo's Cathedral along with many architectural buildings and museums around.

- Utrecht:

It is surrounded by pleasant looking canals, good restaurants and antique stores. It features the highest and oldest church tower of the country -the Domkerk. Amongst other attractions is the Central Museum that has a largest collection of artworks by Gerrit Rietveld and paintings from the Caravaggists dating back to the 16th and 17th century.

- The Hague:

It has several interesting museums and the Mauritshuis Royal Picture Gallery which is home to paintings by Rembrandt, Vermeer and other masters of the art.
