Though the man had all the riches in the world he couldn’t say happy because Daryonka missed her pet every day. The tale teaches one of the biggest lessons of life i.e. the worth of happiness is more than money.

C. Indian Legend of Vala - Amongst the Indian a famous fable is the legend of Vala. Vala was a demon who removed Indra, the god of thunder (also the king of heaven) from his throne. To stop him from the ruling, other gods tricked him into performing a ritual. He had to sacrifice his own body. After the dead he became pure. The body transformed into a variety of gemstones. The skin turned into yellow sapphires, blood into ruby and so on. The gemstones fell on the earth. The gemstones had healing power. Rubies were used for curing blood diseases, yellow sapphire for skin problems. etc. People still trust in the healing power of the gemstones.
