The shimmering golden facade of the Golden Temple reflects in the pool and the chanting of the Guru Granth Sahib purifies your soul. The temple is the most significant shrines of Sikhism and can boast of the largest kitchen in the world serving langar to thousands of people day and night. The temple located in Amritsar Punjab has been the centre of many historical and political upheavals. The famous Jalianwala Bagh massacre took place here, where thousands of innocent people lost their lives in the hands of the British. DELHI

The Old Delhi, considered as the Muslim capital of India and New Delhi, the city created by the British. AGRA

The Taj Mahal in Agra is globally famous as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Built with white marble on the banks of the river Yamuna, the building symbolises the epitome of love. The architectural features of this tomb are a technological wonder. The gardens surrounding the Taj Mahal are beautiful. Next you can visit the Agra Fort, another Mughal creation. On your way out visit the Fatehpur Sikri.

JAIPUR

Jaipur known as the “Pink City” for its pink tinted constructions, is encompassed by barren hills is filled with forts. It still has a royal aura and flavour. The Hawa Mahal is a beautiful red sand stoned structure with 950 windows. The Amber Fort is known for its splendid architecture and The Jantar Mantar which is a UNESCO World heritage site was built by Maharaja Jai Singh, it has five astronomical observatories which forecast eclipses and discovers new celestial bodies.

VARANASI

Located bang on the banks of the revered river Ganges, this ancient city is supposed to be the Hindu spiritual capital of India. Varanasi is also known for learning, culture and music .Do visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sarnath Museum, Bharat Kala Bhavan, Man Singh Observatory, the Benaras Hindu University etc.
