AT BARTANG ISLAND
At Bartang Island you have plenty to photograph and capture. You can see the Mud Volcano 4 km away from the boat jetty. The boat ride to the lime stone caves is magnificent. It passes through a narrow mangrove creek which is an experience of a life time. The massive alluvial formations, inside the caves, forming different patterns are a delight for photographers.
NATURAL BRIDGE AT NEIL ISLAND
This phenomenal bridge connects land to sea and also to the land. You will be amazed by nature’s artistic revelation. This natural bridge formed by the rocks is a treasure for photographers. This arch of land that connects to its two bases five meter apart. The passage below the bridge gives it a look of a natural bridge.
WITNESS TURTLE NESTING AT DIGLIPUR
During December and January, turtles go through a gestation period, which makes them roam the beaches of Digilpur. You can witness this on the Ram Nagar Beach, a rare sight for lucky tourist and photographers.
MAHATMA GANDHI MARINE NATIONAL PARK
This park is rich in corals, varieties of coloured fishes, sea turtles etc. It is also a bird’s paradise, with 271 varieties of birds, including 39 that are endemic.
SAMUDRIKA NAVAL MARINE MUSEUM
Take a tour down the Anthropological Museum, giving insights into the lives of indigenous tribes, in Port Blair, giving a glimpse of the biodiversity of Marine life.
BARREN ISLAND
This uninhabited island is the only active volcano in South Asia. With the most recent volcanic erupt ion Barren Island is a rare sight to behold even when it is not exploding. It is a marvellous site for photography.
