LINGARAJTEMPLE (east)

... known for its unique architecture. The temple has been divided into 4 parts, and the Lingam has been believed to have originated on its own, so is called Swayambhu. The height of the temple is around 55meters, and is built with a whiff of Kalinga style, with stones of the darkest shade. Beautiful scriptures have been carved on to the walls of the temple. The Nata temple has some evidences of devdas tradition. The lingam is said to have been built with granite and is daily fed with milk, water and bhang. You can enter the temple through the lion gate and because of optical influence; the temple looks larger than what it actually is.

HUTHEESING JAIN TEMPLE (west)
This remarkably elegant temple in Gujarat was built by Seth Hutheesing as a dedication to the 15th Tirthankara. It was by traditional artisans created out of white marbles built by the artisans of the Salat community. It is an engineering wonder assembled together, a twofold storied structure with an arch on the fundamental front. The patio here is a solidified structure, encompassed by a line of shelters that contains 52 sacred places of worship dedicated to various Tirthankaras.

TANJORE- TRICHY- MADURAI (south)
These three destinations are famous destinations for spiritual tourism. Tanjore is famous for the Brahhadeeswar temple, constructed during the Chola reign is an architectural marvel. The prime tourist attractions in Trichy are Jambukeshwar Temple, Srirangam Temple and Rock Fort Temple at the summit of the 84m high rock .Madurai, known as the Athens of the East is famous for the magnificent Meenakashi Temple, with over 1500 sculptures, 12 gopurams and sculpted pillars narrating a story of the marriage of the beautiful princess of Madurai with Lord Shiva. Then drive to Mahabalipuram the city famous for rock cut temples.

VAISHNO DEVI (north)
It is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Adi Shakti a manifestation of Goddess Durga. Maa Vaishno Devi shrine is also known as Mata Rani. Situated at an altitude of 5300 ft in the hills of Katra in Jammu and Kashmir, the climb to the temple is an arduous one. It is the second most visited religious place in India and is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Navaratri is the biggest festival celebrated here.
