Essay: Imagining The Tenth Dimension

The ten dimensions have a basis for the string theory that adds another layer to mystery and imagination. The dimensions are based upon the resonances of small superstrings vibrating in the tenth dimension. The average person has no way to deal with and cannot easily understand how ten strings can create reality. The narration helps by providing tools that allow the mind to imagine the construction of the ten dimensions. The explanation is based upon the relationship of the current theories of reality and the modern physics. It also shows the relationship between the physical space and time that fall outside the generally accepted viewpoint.
The first dimension is a line that consists of an infinite number of points combined side by side in the direction of the first dimension. A point has no size and dimension since it is purely a descriptor indicating a particular value or location in the system. The second dimension is a split having a length and a width. It starts by plotting a line and then another across. A good example of a creature having two dimensions is a Flatlander. The third dimension is a fold that has a ...
... length, breadth and height. The three dimensions combined form a ‘space land.’ Many of the creatures including humans view objects in three dimensions.
The fourth dimension is time that shows the difference between two imaginary points. The narrator explains that one can move up and down or left and right creating two dimensions of time. The fifth dimension is a split that involves the imagination of a long undulating snake moving along a straight line in the fourth dimension. It has several paths it can branch to at any given moment. Thus, the fifth dimension has grounds from time. The sixth dimension arises from the analogy of the Mobius strip. It takes the timeline as a two-dimensional strip of paper. In order to refer to the past, one has to wrap the paper around itself through the third dimension. The seventh dimension is a line that tries to combine three dimensions to form a single point. It also treats the entire sixth dimension as if it were a single point. By treating all the other points as a single point, then the seventh dimension would be at infinity. The set of possibilities from our Big Bang is one infinity. There are other infinities that arise from the other initial dimensions. The eighth dimension is a split that exists in infinity. The ninth dimension is a fold and also exists in infinity and finally the tenth dimension that also would be at infinity. The narrator explains that after the tenth dimension, there is no place left to go meaning that no additional dimensions are possible after the tenth one. The narrator refers to the string theory that is similar to referring to the quantum mechanics.
The basis of his arguments is that the ten dimensions are a new way of thinking about time and space. It requires a lot of imagination and not just referring to the common four dimensions. The narrator uses the relationships between the first four dimensions to build upon the other six. It involves the imagination of one level at time since it cannot be imagined all at once.
