Glycerin softens your skin and locks in the moisture. Thus, these soaps are best suited for people with normal to dry skin type. It cleanses your skin mildly without adding any chemicals.

3. Ideal for Vegans - In case you don’t know what a vegan is - they are people who avoid consuming animal-based products. Animal fats, honey and other secretions from animals are commonly used for making moisturizing agents. People who support veganism will certainly not prefer to go for such soaps. In handmade soaps, aloe vera, coconut oil, tree oil, and shea butter are the main moisturizing components.

On the conversational front, this step can save the animals which are exploited for the production of cosmetics.

5. Lower Shelf Life - Due to the absence of synthetic preservatives, the natural soaps evaporates easily. Storing them in a box is crucial for reducing the wastage. If left in open, they will get used up in a short duration of time. If you have a big soap, cut in into two. Another alternative to save the soap from the slow evaporation is freezing.

6. The texture of the Soap - The chemical-free soaps comes in two varieties - smooth and granular. While soaps will an irregular texture might seem better, the reality is just the opposite. People who have moles, pimples and acne have open pores. The granules can cause irritation to affected areas. Thus, organic soap with a smooth texture is your ideal match.

The natural soaps are either hot pressed or cold pressed.
