Scoring high in university exams, semesters or annuals, is a dream for any student pursuing his or her graduate or post-graduate program. That’s why it’s better that you move on to the next question when you can’t solve your current one in two attempts. Because if it is taking more than two attempts to solve, then you are probably getting it wrong at some point that you can’t quite understand. And given the time constraints, it’s no time to revise or getting back to your basic concepts.

3. Never Leave Anything to Examiner’s Imagination

That’s the biggest mistake that you could do when answering a mathematics or science paper. Whenever doing a derivation or a lengthy numerical, it’s better you write all the necessary values given in a question. Also, give a minute or two to writing statements or assumptions clearly before starting your main answer. That way you could be sure that you are not leaving anything to the discretion of your examiner. Not only that, whenever writing mathematical formulas that you will be putting for use, make sure you write what the symbols or letters used are for. The reason is simple. Students many times read from different books, each one having its own system of notation to signify various scientific terms.
