The women that is suffering with PCOS may be prone to many other disease. One of them is diabetes. In types of diabetes one of them is gestational diabetes. The GD or gestational diabetes occur when the woman is pregnant there is increase in the level of glucose in the body, that leads to high sugar level. Women with PCOS have a greater change to affect with or developing GD. High glucose level in the body will associate with gestational diabetes. That will include a number of complication like high birth weight, preterm birth, and respiratory issues at birth, low blood sugar and jaundice.

That also cause many other issues or problems for the mother or the child during the pregnancy or at delivery. There can be chances to avoid that with a balance diet with or without consuming the medication. That can manage the blood sugar level and can also prevent any further complication related to gestational diabetes. The screening of the gestational diabetes is mostly done at the earlier stage of pregnancies to their condition. They are two way to check the level of gestational diabetes. First one is glucose challenge test and the second one is glucose tolerance testing.

Both of these method require to drink a sugary solution and the amount which you need to consume will differ according to the doctor recommendation. The polycystic ovarian syndrome gestational diabetes is found in most of the pregnant women. Every second women you find is suffering from it. The polycystic ovarian syndrome diabetes may get eradicated but the diabetes type 2 may again appear in that woman at the later stage of life. Only thing that can help is the proper diet plan.
