How to Install Slatwall Panels?

Fix slatwall panel directly to the wall if the wall is perfectly flat.
Drill through the slots of the panel.
For installing plaster boards use long screws and raw plugs.
Fix screws through the slats. It will hide the screw heads and provide a very professional look to your installation.
Fix the slatwall panels in a dry and dump free wall because moister can damage the panel from the rear.
Using battens to fix the panels makes it easier. Batten ensures that you don’t have any stepped or jutting joins and the panels run true.
To support each panel you have to have three battens. Fix batten to your wall at 600mm spaces. For displaying heavy items you have to have four battens. For that fix the battens at 300mm spaces. Use the same method as mentioned above to fix the panels with the battens. Drill through the slatwall panels’ slots. It will make sure that when you install the slatwall inserts the screw heads are hidden.

To install slatwall panels it is advisable to take the help of an expert. You can also do the work by yourself. You can do the work by using normal wood-working power tools. But use the specific instruments to give your installation a much more professional look.
