But with the modern approach of numerous activists and contemporary ideologist, the Jewish women earned their rightful claim in wearing talitot. Here are some facts about the tallit that are relevant in this discussion.

• The Evolution In Making:

As mentioned earlier, that in the old days, Tallit was only for men and hence they were made specifically for them. But with the increasing number of women wearing tallit, there is an evolutionary change in the making of the Tallit for women. Therefore, unlike the standard version of men’s tallit, the women’s talitot are made in a different way. They are tailored with a mixture of design and different style. Thus, they have become more attractive and gone beyond from just being a religious garment.

•Use Of Pure Fabric:

According to the Jewish custom, as far as fabrics for talitot is concerned, wool and silk or woven synthetic cotton is considered the most pure and the preferable ones to go for. Also, in the Jewish custom, using mixed fabric for tallit is prohibited. As Jewish people are spread across the world, they have spread their custom with them. Hence, even today the use of pure fabric is still prevalent in the manufacturing of talitot.

The hand crafted ones will never fail to give you that traditional look and feel.
