Sony Xperia 4 With Snapdragon 710 & 21 : 9 Aspect Ratio Screen, 5.7 Inch Hd+ Expected To Launch
After the launch of the Xperia 1 and Xperia 10 duo, Sony may be preparing to launch another high-screen Xperia smartphone called the Sony Xperia 4. According to the latest information shared by Sumahoinfo, Sony is developing a smartphone with a 21:9 compact display via the Snapdragon 710 SoC.
Sony launched their new line of smartphones at MWC this year, with the Sony Xperia 1 being the new flagship device running the Snapdragon 855 chipset, with a 21:9 display length of 1644 x 3840.
Other models are in the mid-range, the Xperia 10 Plus uses the Snapdragon 636, and the Xperia 10 uses the Snapdragon 630. Both devices have the same ultra-wide 21:9 display, but the flagship product has a resolution lower than 1080 x 2520 pixels.
It is now rumored that Sony is launching a lineup of Xperia 4, which will be in the upper middle of the market and use the Snapdragon 710 processor.
Like the Xperia 10 model, the new device has a display size of 1080 x 2520 but an actual size of 5.7 inches.
Other rumors of the Xperia 4 specification indicate 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM. It is also possible to ...
... use a 2,800 mAh battery, which is a very small battery according to current standards, but the display is smaller than the average, so the battery life can be normal.
For optics, the phone is likely to have dual rear camera settings without information about the front camera.
One of the highlights of the rumor includes the missing 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Currently, I will release a rumor of this version with a handful of salt. Snapdragon 710 was originally intended for mobile phones targeting the Asian market, but Nokia 8.1 also uses it. The naming scheme and size of the phone is a bit confusing with all other models of a 6-inch or larger display. However, the Sony Xperia Compact model has been very popular with users, so it may be that the new Xperia 4 is designed to fill this gap.
Qualcomm has just launched the Snapdragon 675, replacing the Snapdragon 670 launched less than three months ago.
It may take several months to launch a device with a new system chip, but the mid-range SoC market is starting to get a bit crowded, and now the four mid- to high-end chips in the form of Snapdragon 670,675 are confusing, 710, then HiSilicon Kirin 710. Then there are other mid-range options in the form of Snapdragon 660 and 636
Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 does offer some notable upgrades on the 670.
Its 8-core design now uses the Kryo 460 CPU as its performance core, based on the new Arm Cortex A76 core. A76 is Arm's latest CPU microarchitecture, usually used for flagship models
According to Qualcomm, the application speed of the new kernel has increased by 15% and the pageview rate has increased by 35%.
