The Merchants Boutique is a medium-scale clothe dealer located in the growing industrial center of Gaborone Botswana. The Boutique is a relatively new business in its start-up phase having gotten incorporated recently. The principal objective of the Merchant is to provide a viable insight and updates about fashion which is a gap to fill at downtown, Gaborone.The business is thus are on the threshold of waving its way to this lucrative market within a rapidly-growing economy. The present trend towards a hoist in the entrepreneurial enterprises and an ever rising competition amongst existing companies offers a feasible opportunity for The Merchants to make a way into the market. Our products will thus get stocked with vigilance (Campanelli, 2008). We shall ensure high quality to ensure customer satisfaction. That will get supported by an impeccable service to our clients. As The Merchants strive to prosper, the surrounding communities will increasingly benefit from both the value we create and our behavior as a corporate citizen.

To prosper, The Merchants will need to be flexible and responsive. We get aimed to provide customer with what they want, when they want, and before the competitors. The Merchants have identified The Thrillers Fashions to be its sole suppliers and the latter have agreed to the commitment. We have established a full 24 hours communication channels that will cater for customers complaints or even order door-delivery. Challenges get also expected, but we are not quitters (Agard, 2007).
Products and services
The Merchants presets to stock ready-to-wear designer lines, contemporary apparel and other accessories for women. Clothing lines consist of weekend MaxMini, James Jean, AG jeans, Vince, Tosca and goat during start up. Accessories with have wardrobe accessories, sachets, hungers and lint brushes. Fashion accessories will consist of local designer jewelry, belts, scarves, hats, Tanjane Lingerie and Illux. We are destined to offer the services in our stores and also home delivery (Agard, 2007).
Marketing plan
He Merchants targets both the working class and the corporate. The working class will constitute the minors and the administrative personnel who appreciate fashion. The corporate will form the managerial segment both local and outside the town and who struggle to keep their reputation through clad. The common bond between the two groups will get attained by their appreciation of good quality services and products which for long has gotten sought outside the locality (Agard, 2007). We primarily target a market share of 8 percent in order to attain $2 million in our initial year. That will get done through competitive pricing among others.
Operational Plan
The Merchant intend to operate ten hours per day, excluding Sundays. Due to the size, we will higher six personnel staff each with defined duties. We will sufficiently compensate these staff to retain their expertise. We will operate under stiff competition, and thus customer focus remains our motto. That calls for worker's incentives in order to make them do more. The Merchants thus plan to have occasional awarding for good performance of employees (Nilsson & Rapp, 2004). Our competitive advantage still lies in our size and products that are somewhat unique from those of competitors (Nilsson & Rapp, 2004). However, The Merchants is still new to the market and has to work tirelessly to the top and once there, retain its position. To attain short run boost, The Merchants aims to employee fifty percent experienced workers. The management, for instance, will constitute of employees with at least three years exposure in the line of fashion and design. The other positions will get filled out of viability judgment through conducting interviews by this management team.
