HTC U11 +

Although U12+ is out, U11+ is still a better choice due to problems with mobile phones.

The price of U11+ is impressive, including 128GB of standard storage. We also like the upgraded screen and waterproof, but the phone is too big for some people.

In the wider market, U11+ does not stand out in any category. Have better photography, audio, display and design phones. Edge Sense is the selling point here, but you can get the same thing on the cheaper Pixel 2.

HTC U11

There are a lot of things to watch about HTC U11. Although it does have flagship specifications, it is difficult to distinguish it from products like Samsung and LG in the market. The sleek and colorful design is fresh, but not for everyone, even if we are happy that it is finally waterproof. The key is that you want the squeezable Edge Sense feature, which is sometimes useful, but not what we are blowing away.

HTC 10

Despite its age (released in 2016), HTC 10 is still a good smartphone and reasonably priced. It has a sturdy construction quality and a camera, although not as good as U11 or U12+, but still quite good.
As long as there is a newer phone, it won't get Android update support, but if you can find it for less than £300/$300, then it's a bit of a theft.

HTC U12 life

As we saw in U11 Life, HTC is clearly able to create a decent mid-range smartphone. Its follow-up is completely different, namely the abandonment of Android One and Edge Sense, but it makes up for it elsewhere.

The price is lower, so getting U12 for less than £300 is an attractive price tag and you can get general good specifications, including big screen, Snapdragon 636 and big battery. Oh, there is also a headphone jack.

Although not perfect, not everyone will like this shiny/striped back design. If the HDR camera mode is better but we will be slightly picky, we will be more happy.

HTC Desire 12+

Desire 12+ is a good job on the budget phone, and we like it.

Lightweight and comfortable design and generally good performance.

However, it has declined in some key areas, such as the screen is not as crisp as we want, and the camera does not perform well.
